Today, while driving along AYE, and while having lunch at home, saw that flowers are blooming everywhere. Honey and I decided to walk to these 2 places (the round-about overhead bridge that straddles AYE just after Cycle & Carriage towards City direction and Pandan Reservoir) to capture the beautiful images while exercising.

2 reflections of mine in the process of doing that:

1) At the Pandan Reservoir, in front of CWT, where a row of tress full of purple and white flowers greet us with a breath-taking sight, honey and I traversed down the slope towards them. The grass patch is full of pot-holes hidden by the over-grown grass. After a few steps, I almost sprained my leg when it fell into one of the pot-holes. Then, honey taught me to extend out the foot to test the ground in front before putting the whole weight down. Reflection: proceed with caution in life. Don’t chiong ahead too hastily and get injured.

2) While walking back home from the round-about overhead bridge, when we reached the side-walk beside Commonwealth Secondary School, the flowers were dropping down to the ground due to not being able to withstand the force of the wind. We managed to catch a flower each in mid-air. Very happy moment! Reflection: be always ready to grab opportunities when they come. The flower will not float up and drop down again. Yes, there might be other flowers. But it is just not going to be these 2 flowers lying in front me on the table. Reflection: enjoy the glory while possible before being blown off your perch. We really should travel and go see the world while we can.
