Today is 4/11! Hehe.. I know today is 4/20, but we have been busy enjoying ourselves that we haven’t really found time to upload these posts till now. But I think that it is still important that we have this space to store our cherished precious moments, so that we can look back at these shared memories when we are old.
Yah, back to the birthday of my sweet honey. I took the day off so that we can spend the whole day together. Honey took leave as well. 🙂 We didn’t arrange beforehand though. 心有灵犀 at its highest level! If that doesn’t impress you, wait till you hear more of our ‘copy-cat’ moments.
In the morning, we met up at around 9:30am and headed to the rider’s cafe for brunch. That’s where I gave honey her birthday present. Along the car-ride there, she has been reading the birthday card that I wrote her. That reminds me! She guessed the present I bought for her! Hmph!
My champion always!
After the satisfying meal, we sneaked into the stable, where the horses are kept. Honey and me had a discussion on why a horizontal bar is sufficient to keep the horses in their cubicles. Honey had a theory that horses can’t prone down or lie down. The next moment, one magnificently black horse showed us how he can lie down, roll around and get up. 🙂 We were glad that horses have survived long enough for us to still be able to see them. So, we decided to go to Great World City to catch “Noah”. Honey felt that there was more than enough space to accept more than 2 animals per species. For me, I felt that the logic of having to kill his grand-daughters doesn’t really make sense since they would have nobody to breed with them anyway. If he is afraid of in-breeding, grand-sons could have given birth to future descendants with his daughter-in-law anyway. I am afraid I am being a 木头 again, so I shall stop here.
Then, we proceeded to Muhamed Sultan road <http://www.thepatissier.com> to collect honey’s birthday cake, which I have reserved beforehand.
Honey also treated me to this cake called ‘Jade Mirror’, which was extremely yummy!
Then, we went to shop for groceries at the Yuan Ching Sheng Siong to prepare for the dinner at honey’s home. The dinner preparation was fun! We were efficient too. Under the guidance of Big Chef Ge, the table of dishes was born.
After dinner, we gave the food some time to travel down the intestines before we send the cake down. Before we do that, honey makes her super long list of wishes. Nobody was complaining, of course. To add on to her wishes, I wish honey will be healthy and happy always! ❤
