Eric is growing up so fast!!!!!!

宝宝长大了。
小米米开始明显表现出对大人说话的理解力了。继前两天他听我说拜拜， 拍手有表现开始， 小可爱开始喜欢模仿大人了。 晚上爸比躺在沙发上， 我们在玩， 他突然开始模仿爸比打呼的声音了， 一边指爸爸， 一边”可呼， 可呼”的讲了好久。 后来明确到我问他 “爸比在做什么呀?” 他答 ” 可呼， 可呼” 实在是太可爱啦。
小米米会察言观色了，那天他非要我们给他温度计玩， 不给他就大哭， 我和他爸爸决定以此时作为教育点， 让他知道哭没有用，我们默默看着他。 哭得那是相当用力， 一把鼻涕一把眼泪的。他哭了几声发现我们没反应，就会停下来观察一下， 有点纳闷为什么我们没反应，就看着他， 又哭一下， 发现我们还是没反应。。感觉有点下不了台， 看到auntie 过来， 又大哭， 发现我们3个人都看着他， 过了一会儿， 看我们都没有反应， 决定停下来， 这个时候我才抱抱他， 然后我们就开开心心的去洗澡了。。小米米开始长心眼了呢。
智力上有的质的变化， 行动力和协调能力也越来越好。 现在小米米满地爬， 一不小心， 小米米就一溜烟爬到厨房或我们房间去。在沙发上爬上爬下已经是小case了， 现在经常爬上沙发靠背听着音乐摇摆藍
开始学走路。 小米米很勇敢，对疼痛的忍耐度相当高。 喜欢自己练习走路了， 扶着小狮子在家里走得飞快。 有一点好就是他非常独立， 感觉他并不是很依靠小狮子， 会想办法自己balance， 看来离他开始自己走路的日子不远了。他现在也很神奇的自己爱穿鞋穿袜子了。。。几个月前明明还很抗拒， 现在自己把小鞋递给我， 再把小脚丫抬到我面前，要求我帮他穿。。
一天天看在他在成长，不得不惊叹于他的学习能力。希望小米米会成长为一个性格开朗，坚毅的男子汉。

小米一岁了! Surrounded by all the loved ones, our boy turned one year old. He is a blessed boy. He has been showered with love every moment in the past 365 days. It is his birthday, so of course the limelight is on him. But we all know how much sacrifices and hardship my dear wife, Hailin, has gone through to make this special day possible.

It all started even before he was conceived. Putting up her legs for almost half an hour everytime after the love seeds were implanted to the numerous bitter chinese medicine she took to condition her body, Hailin did everything possible to increase Eric’s chance of coming into existence. All of that helped the champion love seed to reach the finishing line and kissed the egg of life in March 2019.

When Eric was just a foetus in her womb, she made sure he had the best nest to grow and thrive in. When she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, she tested her blood sugar level after every meal to ensure the blood sugar level was under control and Eric was not affected. The pricking of fingers to ooze out the blood was painful, but she didn’t complain. And, of course, she avoided all the yummy food. Hailin loves eating. So, we all know how much agony she was in to avoid those sweet delicacies.

Then, as time went by, and the tummy grew in size, simple movements such as sitting down and lying flat on bed became challenging. And, to add on to that, Eric liked to kick at the stomach wall at night when we were trying to sleep. Instead of being angry at him, though, Hailin was always excited to see his little footprint protruding out from the tummy and 2 of us would try to catch it.

Now, Eric is one! Looking forward to many many more years of fun and laughter with honey and him.
