Sending 小米 to school is always fun! We cherish the conversations with him along the way. And, of course, the wefie time at his check-in. Then seeing him saunter into the school, observing his school-mates along the way, filled us up with excitement at the fun and learnings awaiting him ahead. Then the reality snapped at us and we are back to face a hectic schedule ahead.

Then comes the time for us to fetch him from school! It is something we look forward to as he will tell us all the exciting stuff that happened in school.

When his mother asked him to carry his own bag of toys, he said “Mama, caring is sharing. So you should carry for me.”

The next morning after being put into the naughty corner, Eric went “Papa, we are best friends right? Best friends don’t lock each other in naughty corner.”

Upon being told that papa need to work, Eric said with a heavy heart “I don’t need you to buy any toy for me. I just want you to play with me.”

Learning that Papa can no longer grow taller as Papa is old already, Eric slid over and touched Papa’s head lovingly and pleaded “Please don’t die. I want you to play with me forever.”

When Mama was sternly warning him to behave, Eric hugged her and said “你不可以这么凶凶地说话。”
